Our team facilitates the relationship between architects, contractors, homeowners and craftsman; understanding the need for harmony and collaboration in both design and execution. This approach is reflected through a process that is individually tailored to the needs and life of each home.

Barrett Cyr, Principal+Builder: Born and raised outside of Boston, Barrett Cyr graduated from Boston College with a business degree in Finance and Marketing. In 1996, he moved to Aspen, Colorado to pursue his passion of designing and building homes.  Inspired by the landscape and natural beauty of the Roaring Fork Valley, Barrett has been building homes in Aspen for 20 years. Barrett is involved in every aspect of his projects. He loves the creative process of designing and working closely with architects, interior designers and his clients to achieve their vision.

Joel Hocknell, Director of Development: Originally from Southern California, Joel moved to Aspen, CO in 1992 after receiving his degree in International Business from Arizona State University. He joined the Cyr+Co team in 2000, helping to obtain, supervise and complete new projects of various levels. Experience in project management allowed him to help oversee sizable construction projects at The St. Regis Aspen, 56 Leonard in New York City, the Chef’s Club in two New York City locations, and the Sunset Tower in West Hollywood, CA.
